Beijing Government Scholarship

In order to encourage and support excellent international students looking for further education in Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), and to award outstanding current international degree students of BFSU, Beijing government establishes “Beijing Government Scholarship” project in BFSU. BFSU International Students Office is in charge of administration of the project; BFSU "Beijing International Students and Scholars Scholarship” Assessment Committee is responsible for the assessment and award.

Note:Those who have been awarded Chinese Government Scholarship are not allowed toapply for this scholarship.




Eligible Candidates

1. Applicants should be international students applying for admission of BFSU degree program in 2014;

2. Applicants are required to possess excellent grade in every subject, virtue and good heath, and to obey laws and regulations in China.


Application Time

The deadline of application is June 15th, 2014. Please submit all your application materials to International Students Office before the deadline.


Application Documents

1.Completion of “Beijing International Students Scholarship Application Form”;

2.Notarized certificate of highest education

3.Notarized transcript of highest education

4.Letter of recommendation from former university.

5.Applicants who apply for degree program should submit Study plan or research plan (those who apply for degree program.)

6.Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the legal documents of their legal guardians in China.

7.Applicants study longer than 6 months should submit Foreigner Examination Form.

8.Other materials (publications or academic achievements).
