Brief Introduction
Beijing, also known as Peking, is the capital of the People′s Republic of China. Governed as a municipality under direct administration of the central government, Beijing is recognized as the political, educational, economic and cultural and center of China, as well as the center of international activities.

Beijing is the home of the best universities in China including Beijing Foreign Studies University, Peking University and Tsinghua University and other 70 colleges and universities.
